David North (Christoph "Christopher" Nord) is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was originally known as Maverick, and more recently as Agent Zero. The character first appeared in X-Men #5 and was created by writer John Byrne and co-writer/artist Jim Lee.

Maverick, who fell madly in love with the woman who was only manipulating him, convinced her that capturing and transforming Logan would’ve added a strong asset to her army. The couple lured him to their base on the Santa Cruz Island , but he managed to eliminate every single obstacle put to stop him, impressing Alyssa.

Maverick was later hired by Eaglestar International to act as the head of security for their latest project, the flying city of Skydream. His Plug-In was also fixed to allow him to transform into Red Hulk again.

General Robert L. Maverick is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is the second character to use the Red Hulk identity after Thunderbolt Ross , who lost his powers shortly before Maverick was introduced.

Nord joined the Program’s covert operations unit Team X, changed his name to David North, and took the codename Maverick. In recent years, Japanese crimelord Matsu’o Tsurayaba and his allies, including former Weapon X scientist Doctor Cornelius, resurrected the Russian super-soldier Omega Red .
