2020年2月23日 · The materials used to retain the aluminum to the disk is pretty high quality and it’s questionable whether MDisk is even still relevant because of that. If you burn a disk just store it appropriately and you should be fine.

I like to think about it more as a disaster recovery option, or a recovery bootstrap kit. While I have all my data offsite in another backup in several LTO tapes, I do keep a few MDisk backups of critical data I need to access quickly.

When you actually read into it. M-Discs are not LTO tapes you do not need to vacuum store them same with anything that's archival grade and properly rim bonded it's already encased in polycarbonate plastic all BD-R on the market today is in-organic.
