2024年6月9日 · Inspired by Czechnology™, Louis Stange redesigned ZB-53 belt feed which was itself a refined Maxim, changing the axis of rotation from vertical to horizontal, and got a patent on it. This was probably the only worthwhile element in the whole MG. After the war Czechoslovaks disregarded his IP rights and used the same design for the vz. 52 LMG.
