Cypher 2 vs Ultratech - want input! : r/microtech - Reddit
2024年3月30日 · The new Cypher is a lot like a beefier Ultratech. The button side of the handle is wider than the Ultratech from top to bottom. The rest feels similar to an Ultratech. Gives a little better grip for larger hands and unique milling. Much different than other models. It’s also a good bit smaller than last gen so a great EDC size for most.
What’s your opinion on the cypher 2? : r/microtech - Reddit
2024年3月25日 · The Cypher 2 short, wide and slim in pocket. The Makora has near identical Ultratech dimensions but slightly thicker side to side where it almost feels equal on all 4 sides. Both of those models are really worth considering though for an Ultratech alternative for sure.
Time for a new EDC. CT gen 3, Cypher 2, or Scarab 2? : r/microtech …
It’s 3.5 which is around the XM you’ve been carrying though. The CT and Scarab blades are very similar- it’s just that the Scarab has a block of a handle. The Cypher has a smaller blade but a great slicer though like the CT and Scarab. The CT gen 3 has good blade length and overall length and it’s a little slimmer than the CT gen 2.

Aside from my Boker Kalishnokov OTF model having a polymer handle, the blade and action feels so much li like a microtech but I've only played with a fiend's for a few minutes ages ago

Cypher II Button Loose : r/microtech - Reddit
2024年2月23日 · The Cypher II was delivered today, EKnives overnighted it UPS and I didn't have to pay a dime. I love the design, the blade style, and the hidden screws, but the only issue I have is the button. I know they redesigned the button with …

Microtech Combat Troodon vs Cypher : r/knifeclub - Reddit
2018年10月18日 · The Cypher is more sleek whereas the CT is more tactical looking and has the jimping on the handle which make for a better grip. With that said, I'd probably go with the CT as it is likely to be updated or replaced in the next couple years and owning an older/discontinued Microtech would be cool (i.e. my scarab not being made/sold anymore).
