Michal Hornstein (September 17, 1920 – April 25, 2016) was a Polish-born Canadian businessman, art collector and philanthropist. He was born in Kraków, Poland. He moved to Canada after surviving the Holocaust (he was of Jewish descent). [1] He became a citizen in 1957. He was known for donating money to art museums and schools in Quebec.
