2006年4月9日 · Weighing-in at a well-braced, thick-walled (about 1") 80 lbs, the M-7si is nevertheless easy to move. It's also less prone than its larger siblings to physically dominate a room. Unlike the M-1si, the M-7si is a nonsymmetrical design—that is, the driver complement on the back is not the same as that on the front.

2011年7月10日 · On the Mirage the sound from the front and rear are in phase, not the case with dipoles. I sold M series speakers for several years and run M3si in my main system currently. They like a lot of power, your Yamaha should be fine. They do not like to be close to the back wall. They sound quite different from direct radiating speakers.

2022年11月14日 · When I decided on the M7si's it was a 5 way audition sound off with the Vandy 2ce's, Martin Logan Aerius, Thiel CS 1.5's and B&W 805's. At the time (1996 approx) all of these were in the $2k give or take/pair price range. The 2ce's are still current in 2022 but sell for $3,500 and the B&W 805's newest are $8k!! Lot's of inflation at B&W!

2021年6月5日 · Recently I've been eyeing two particular pairs of speakers - Polk SDA 1, and Mirage M7si. I've read very interesting things about them regarding their soundstaging and imaging abilities, two things I find very important in the music I enjoy.

I would definitely recommend buying from this seller. Just as shown in the photos, this is just what I expected.

Whether due to the bipolar contribution of the MSE driver or to those sweet, open highs, the Mirages delivered a superior soundstage—both in width and in depth. Not the most focused I've heard recently (an honor which must go to the Dunlavy SC-IVs reviewed by RD in April '94), but excellent nonetheless.

2015年2月23日 · Mirage's M_si series is great. The M7si is OK but from the M5si on up they're awesome! I've had miy M5si's for almost 19 years now and have no intention of swapping them out.
