I hardly use my MacBook air m1 as a laptop but as a desktop for my Odyssey g9 5120x1440 @ 120hz. it works but I have tested on a 2560x1440 @ 144hz monitor the issue I notice is the monitor and settings may show 120hz but the mouse cursor and safari is still set at 60hz. So the mouse just appears laggy compared to the 120hz.
