2025年1月13日 · Compressed stabilised earth blocks (CSEB) are eco-friendly and cost-effective building materials that are gaining attraction in sustainable construction practices. These blocks, also known as CSEB bricks or stabilised mud blocks, are manufactured by compacting a mixture of soil, stabiliser, and water under high pressure.

Compressed earth blocks can be stabilised or not. But most of the times, they are stabilised with cement or lime. Therefore, we prefer today to call them Compressed Stabilised Earth Blocks (CSEB). The input of soil stabilization allowed people to build higher with thinner walls, which have a much better compressive strength and water resistance.
