In the Deconstruction stage, Mug Life uses computer vision technology to analyze and decompose photos into 3D building blocks: camera, lighting, geometry, and surface texture. Animation In the Animation stage, we use state-of-the-art cinema animation techniques to manipulate the extracted 3D data, while preserving photorealism.

Mug Life, a breakthrough platform and app where users bring their photos to life with 3D animation, was founded by Rob Cohen and Thomas Coles in 2015 and is available for iOS on the Apple App store. This innovative technology featuring deep neural networks marries decades of video game expertise with the latest advances in computer vision.

If Mug Life is already installed on the new (destination) device with a different account, delete it. This will delete all the Mug Life data on that device and it may abandon its Mug Life account, so use caution. We'll reinstall later with Mug Life on the same account. Go to the old (source) device.
