I have a Mutoh valuejet 1324. It’s dropping ink (cyan) after a couple feet of printing. Is it time to change Dampers? My nozzle checks are 100% perfect and the Printhead is 5 months old. thanks

2023年3月23日 · Swapped the CR motor from the older printer – didn’t help and the older Mutoh with CR motor from newer Mutoh didn’t start having this problem; Some technician suggested the machine might be overheating. We removed the rear panel and put two 12V fans inside blowing air on PSU and motherboard. No change at all.

2011年10月31日 · Is a Mutoh trained tech working on this? I am not familiar with with one that includes a loud knock, but it will be important to carefully watch the machine as it errors to see at what exact location it knocks.

2017年4月28日 · Mutoh reports that there is a bad batch of subtanks out there that collapse and will not refill. This issue is for 1641/1682 SRPros only. However, it's possible that could be an issue with an older machine too. Normally, replacing the ink valve should be sufficient unless there is a kinked line or obstruction somewhere.

2020年1月16日 · Roland, Mutoh and Mimaki have Epson DX printheads. The Epson SureColor use PrecisionCore printhead which is exclusive to Epson printers. I have an Epson SC-S40610 and I can tell you that 4 pass blows out 6 or 8 pass on HP Latex or a Mimaki which I consider the closest printer to Epson in term of quality.

2009年6月24日 · Mutoh Valuejet 1604 using bulk ink catridges (jetbest ink) The magenta was left to run far too low and now we are greeted with SubTank Refill everytime we try to print a job. I was told that the cause is more than likely air in the system and that I should syringe the ink through. I've already tried little charge twice and various strong cleans.
