2021年1月21日 · I don't see how/why a bad temp sensor would result in an Open Circuit code for the Coolant Circulation Valve (N214). yea...I just a little baffled by it and there's not much info online and there's nothing for the p1257 code in the Audi ERwin manual. Here's another code that has popped up with it. P125A 00 [109] - Implausible Coolant Flow.

2018年7月9日 · Check for coolant level being proper & leaks further PSI hold, most importantly check expansion tank cap and o-ring for proper fit/seal, in addition to quality of coolant. If coolant out of range during logs, change the thermostat control valve.

2010年5月7日 · IF the light does come back on, I will try the sensor if the CEL doesn't go away after a few days. If that doesn't fix it and the light is still on, then we will have Audi replace the whole engine coolant thermostat kit.

2020年2月12日 · My TDI developed a slow coolant leak. Really slow. I could never find anything, just the vague smell of antifreeze, sometimes. I looked online & one possible culprit was the EGR cooler. That would be covered under the emission warranty. So I took it into the dealer & they said the intake would need to come off to find the leak.

2020年10月8日 · My wife got a CEL Monday morning, and I diagnosed it with my vcds scanner. She took it to the dealer today and they said it is leaking coolant, needs new thermostat, and isn't covered by warranty. The cost to fix was $1,301.12.
