The Role of Probabilistic Design Analysis Methods in Safety and ...
This paper discusses the importance of PDA methods in NASA's new commercial environment, their applications, and the key role they can play in designing reliable, safe, and affordable launch systems.
In this paper, we first discuss the PDA methodology and the most practiced PDA process in determining the cross-system failure probabilities for the NASA Ares I launch vehicle. Next, we present two examples of PDA cases to illustrate the modeling effort and provide some results in support of the integrated Ares I PRA.
Welcome to the Planetary Data System
2025年3月5日 · The Planetary Data System (PDS) is a long-term archive of digital data products returned from NASA's planetary missions, and from other kinds of flight and ground-based data acquisitions, including laboratory experiments.

The vendor should compile statistics to calculate the percent defective allowable (PDA) for a lot to pass the burn-in test. The PDA represents the percentage of the lot allowed to fail during burn-in without forcing the lot to be rejected; this is judged by part failure versus time statistics, which should look something like the first half of ...

2010年6月7日 · To support the integrated vehicle PRA, probabilistic design analysis (PDA) models are developed by using vehicle design and operation data to better quantify failure probabilities and to better understand the characteristics of a failure and its outcome.

Percent Defective Allowable (PDA) for microcircuits shall be as follows: a. A 5% PDA on the reversebias shall include all failures during reverse bias burn-in, all interim post reverse bias burn-in electrical parameters, post reverse bias deltas, and final electrical parameters and deltas (if …
3.7 Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA) DPA shall be performed on each lot of non-standard EEE parts used in grade 1 and grade 2 applications in accordance with SSQ 25000. DPA shall be performed at an approved Space Station test facility.

This material was prepared by reacting stoichiometric quantities of a dianhydride (4,4'- (2-diphenylphosphinyl-1,4-phenylenedioxy)diphthalic anhydride (PPODA-1)) with a diamine (p-phenylenediamine (p-PDA)) to form a poly (amide acid) that was subsequently converted to the polyimide by reacting stoichiometric amounts of PPODA-1 and p-PDA in DMAc ...
