Nov 21, 2022 · NFPA 70 ®, National Electrical Code ® (NEC ®), 2020 edition, is now recognized by 24 states, making the NEC the electrical authority on electrical safety standards in the United States. Additionally, NFPA® has made the 2020 NEC available on NFPA LiNK ® for improved access and it will be available in Spanish March 2023.

As part of its commitment to enhancing public safety, NFPA makes its codes and standards available online to the public for free.
