2023年1月13日 · Ngc 1999 is found near the Orion Nebula in what would be to the right of it (when viewing the Orion nebula in the traditional orientation) and is close enough to be captured in the same frame with up to a 300mm focal length lens or scope. The main feature of NGC 1999 is the white reflection nebula at the center of my image.

2024年5月30日 · Just weeks after NASA astronauts repaired the Hubble Space Telescope in December 1999, the Hubble Heritage Project snapped this picture of NGC 1999, a nebula in the constellation Orion. The Heritage astronomers, in collaboration with scientists in Texas and Ireland, used Hubble's Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2) to obtain this colour image.

2022年10月22日 · Only nebulae? NGC 2024 (Flame) and M78 are suprisingly easy. M43 of course. Other suggestions: NGC 2174 (Monkey Head), NGC 281 (Pacman), NGC 1999 and NGC 2392. All relatively bright, some benefit from a narrowband filter.
