John Herschel (1847) Cape Observations Discovered by Sir John Herschel at the Cape of Good Hope with an 18-inch f/13 speculum telescope. He recorded it as "pB, R, bM." On a second occassion he called it "F, R, glbM, 30 arcseconds." His third observation was recorded as "vF, S, R, glbM, 15 arcseconds." The final observation is recorded as "vF, R, glbM, 25 arcseconds."
