NGC 3921 is a Lenticular Galaxy in the Ursa Major constellation. NGC 3921 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 12.64, NGC 3921 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 10 inches (250mm) or more.

The galaxy NGC 3921 (Arp 224) is located in the constellation Ursa Major, near the star Pheda (gamma UMa). It is the result of a merger between two spiral galaxies that occurred 700 million years ago. The merger has already taken place, and the system will evolve into a single elliptical galaxy in about 1 billion years.
