NGC 3994 - Wikipedia
NGC 3994 is an unbarred spiral galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major. The galaxy lies about 160 million light years away from Earth, which means, given its apparent dimensions, that NGC 3994 is approximately 70,000 light years across. [1] It was …
NGC 3994 - Spiral Galaxy in Ursa Major | TheSkyLive.com
NGC 3994 is a Spiral Galaxy in the Ursa Major constellation. NGC 3994 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 12.87, NGC 3994 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 10 inches (250mm) or more.

Young, Star Forming Regions in NGC 3994 and NGC 3995
NGC 3994 is a LINER. All three galaxies have strong ultraviolet emission and have been observed with IUE (Kinney, et al. 1993). As part of an investigation of star formation in interacting galaxies, we have obtained ultraviolet and visible images of the central regions of NGC 3994 and 3995 with the Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph on HST.
NGC 3991/4/5 - University of Alabama
NGC 3991 is the shred-like string of star-forming regions at the northwest corner, and NGC 3994 is the spiral with an internal ring of star-forming region at the southern end of this little grouping. NGC 3995 is also distinguished by having an extraordinarily small rotation velocity - if it is really a disk seen almost edge-on, it has only one ...
