NGC 922 - Wikipedia
NGC 922 is a peculiar galaxy in the southern constellation of Fornax. Its velocity with respect to the cosmic microwave background is 2879 ± 15 km/s, which corresponds to a Hubble distance of 138.5 ± 9.7 Mly (42.46 ± 2.98 Mpc). [1] Additionally, 17 non-redshift measurements give a distance of 138.88 ± 7.47 Mly (42.582 ± 2.291 Mpc). [8]

APOD: 2012 December 17 - NGC 922: Collisional Ring Galaxy
2012年12月17日 · What is sure is that NGC 922 is a ring galaxy created by the collision of a large and small galaxy about 300 million years ago. Like a rock thrown into a pond, the ancient collision sent ripples of high density gas out from the impact …
Chandra :: Photo Album :: NGC 922 :: December 6, 2012
NGC 922, located about 157 million light years from Earth, was formed by the collision between two galaxies. One of these galaxies is shown in this composite image with X-rays from Chandra (red) and optical data from Hubble (appearing as pink, blue, and yellow).
NGC 922 – a new drop-through ring galaxy - IEEE Xplore
We have found the peculiar galaxy NGC 922 to be a new drop-through ring galaxy using multiwavelength (ultraviolet–radio) imaging and spectroscopic observations. Its ‘C’-shaped morphology and tidal plume indicate a recent strong interaction with its companion which was identified with these observations.
