On 24 March 2025, NIMT hosted the executive meeting of Designated Institutes (DIs) of Thailand and the agency under APMP membership, chaired by Pol.Lt.Gen. Pornchai Suteerakune, the Director of NIMT.

NIMT is Thailand’s National Metrology Institute. It is an ASEAN most advanced NMI and one of Asia’s centres of excellence in developing measurement standards and measurement methods for the benefit of industry, trade, society and science.
