We are a full service NMR Facility that welcomes all users of NMR—internal to the University or external businesses and institutes. Your samples can be submitted directly to the facility for preparation, spectrometer optimization, and acquisition by facility staff.

Over the past decade multi-dimensional, multi-nuclear solution nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy has become a powerful technology for obtaining both structural and dynamical information on macromolecules and their complexes, including disordered proteins.

Our primary tool is high-resolution NMR spectroscopy, but we also use a variety of biophysical and molecular biology techniques, including X-ray crystallography and in vivo FRET (fluorescence resonance energy transfer) imaging microscopy.

Optimized for routine screening via 1D Proton, Fluorine and Carbon NMR; Supports standard 2D NMR experiments (COSY, HSQC, NOESY, ROESY) along with standard gradient NMR experiments; Utilizes a 100-tube robotic sample changer for use with 5mm NMR tubes; Samples may be submitted on a first-come / first-serve basis through the sample changer.
