2024年10月16日 · In April of 1994, the NS locomotive paint shop at Chattanooga, Tennessee, outshopped the 4610 in its special commemorative Southern Railway paint. It was painted in classic Southern Sylvan Green and Imitation Aluminum, with black frame, trucks and fuel tank, and dulux gold (yellow) lettering and logos.

I recent magazine showed the old NS 4610 repainted in hideous tropical colors for a shortline somewhere, I was really disappointed. You almost fooled me there for a minute. I use photoshop in My photography class. Great Photo. Some one has to much time on their hands!!! Pretty neat though! Nice! Fake. Take it down.

SOU 4610, owned by Norfolk Southern. This unit has since been repainted into standard NS colors. The EMD GP59 is a 4-axle diesel locomotive model built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division between 1985 and 1989. Power was provided by a 12- cylinder EMD 710 G3A diesel engine, which could produce 3,000 horsepower (2,200 kW).
