Research activities are supported by a teaching and research farm hosting beef cattle, dairy cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. The farm also boasts several acres of arable land and green houses, which are partly supported by irrigation.

2019年1月31日 · The NWU Potchefstroom campus’ RAG has been the kick-off of the social calendar for every student since 1942. Annually young people from all over the country migrate to this student town to participate in this student-driven festival.

2025年2月14日 · Located on the Barolong-Boo Rratshidi land just outside the Mahikeng Campus, the farm is currently harvesting watermelons, sweet melons, butternut and maize. These products are sold to the local community, as well as NWU students and staff, at affordable prices as part of the farm's third-stream income generation strategy.
