Polk S10 speakers from early 90's? Does anyone have any information on these speakers? I found a pair on Craigslist for $75 and am trying to figure out if it's a good deal or not. Retail price was $600/pair. I'm familiar with most Polk speakers but have never heard of this series. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Welcome!

2024年12月9日 · I don't think you could go wrong with any of the NHT models, depending. Mostly depending on what your ears like, and the size/room requirements. I have a pair of SuperOne's (that I like a lot) currently doing garage duty. In the past, I've also used them as my main speakers, in a medium sized room.

2012年8月2日 · For $699, you can get the NHT B12D subwoofer, which IMO is the best you can buy for under $1000. It is an acoustic suspension design, which IMO is superior to ported designs; much cleaner sound and more linear frequency response. It has a 500 watt RMS amplifier. It also has a beautiful piano-black finish and is only 14" on each side.

Initial impression is that the mid range is the strong suit. Tweeter is in the bright side but not overbearing. This will be going into my 2 channel build. It will consist of the nht 2.5, oppo 103, parasound pre amp and parasound 1500a, mit interconnect, wireworld powercords, and audioquest speaker cables.
