2005年10月2日 · SB-800 is the best Nikon flash for i-ttl compatible bodies. Best for older bodies too unless... With d-ttl or film bodies the SB-800 automatic FP-mode does not work and there apparently is no way to turn it on manually like in SB-80DX and SB-28DX.

"My main concern with using a SU800/SB800 is that the IR light may not be as powerful as the camera's flashes" - just read specs for all devices, to avoid guessing. The SU-800 is strongest commander, then SB-800 and then the built-in flash.
