2020年3月27日 · You play what you think the song/tune needs. If it's slow ( measured, restrained)...it's slow. Look at the tempo of the tune. Look at the vibe being created by the track. Then play accordingly . The tune is the king - it decides what is "right". Some pieces of music are slow, perhaps excruciatingly slow, for a reason emotionally.

The idea that people aren't going to learn how to tune a guitar because they've got a machine that does it for them is absurd because people don't end up with Gibsons as their first guitars and Gibson is the only company that's doing it.

2014年10月28日 · No big deal. A little more difficult but doable on piano because the notes are always in the same place. But can experienced guitar players who are dealing with multiple notes, multiple positions able to do the same thing and sight read an unfamilar chart? I know on guitar it takes me weeks to work up a tune sometimes. Thoughts?

2009年11月28日 · The SG surprised me the most, I owned a Gibson SG years ago that would not stay in tune, the Epiphone stays in tune for about the entire 4 hour gig-and I'm playing it hard and bending strings like crazy, too!

2021年1月1日 · ...is upon us. Hope springs eternal. An old tune, set to a poem by Robert Burns captures it pretty well. I recorded this last year...and I don't think I can do it any better. Playing guitar is the only time I speak from the heart. Happy New Year. :)
