2025年1月24日 · I am researching a soldier from the 5th East Yorkshire Regiment. On his service record there is an entry that states "Located in UK at No 1 POW Cage". The entry is undated but appears to be between 10 June and 4 July 1944. He was declared missing on 6 June. Then disembarked in the UK on 10th June and then there is the entry re the POW Cage.
