Nokia Corporation | Nokia
Why Nokia. We help you realize your digital potential with networking technology that provides superior performance, security and seamlessly integrates into any ecosystem.
The NFM-P provides a scalable platform for reliable statistics collection from managed NEs, and also provides statistics for monitoring NFM-P system processes and functions. Depending on the statistics type, you can do the following with the collected data:
NSP Classic Management NFM-P: GUI Operations - Nokia
Identify the Classic Management NFM-P GUI form types, functions and components; Describe Classic Management NFM-P GUI workspace customization; Describe the function of the Navigation Tree for equipment management; List the Classic Management NFM-P fault management capabilities using alarm functionalities
NFM-P and NFM-T integration is performed for the overall IP/OTN/SDH management in a unified operational environment where the different tasks and processes are carried out on different technologies—IP/MPLS, Ethernet L2, OTN L1 and L0, and SDH.
NFM-P alarm administration - documentation.nokia.com
NFM-P alarm administration. What are alarm thresholds? What is alarm suppression? What is the alarm purge algorithm? What is automatic deletion of correlated alarms? What is alarm debouncing? How do I filter alarms for XML API clients using the NFM-P GUI? How do I configure alarm policies? How do I configure alarm severity and deletion behavior?
NFM-P minimum platform requirements - Nokia
NFM-P client platform requirements. Nokia recommends having a minimum of 1.75 GB of dedicated RAM – regardless of the operating system, for the NFM-P client which includes the java UI and web browser memory requirements.

NSP NFM-P discovery (phase 2) - infocenter.nokia.com
During the NSP NFM-P Discovery phase the node sends DNS query messages to the DNS server addresses discovered from the previous phase. The node then learns the IP addresses of the NSP NFP-P and sends SNMP traps toward the NSP NFP-P.
NSP NFM-P configuration (phase 3) - Nokia
When the node is installed and powered on, the NSP NFM-P completes the network-level configuration for the node. The NSP NFM-P configures such things as default tunnels and services to the head-end nodes, or optionally adds the node to an existing network group encryption (NGE) domain.
