Do native English speakers use the word 'notif' to mean ... - slang
Feb 12, 2018 · This question is quite subjective as it probably depends on where you live. I was wondering whether the shortened version of notification — “notif.” — was used in spoken language. In French we tend...
Problema con mensajes de MACFLAP muy constantes
El problema principal recae en el enlace troncal inalambrico que se tiene, constantemente en el switch con nombre HANGAR_SW1 me sale este mensaje de "flapping" entre direcciones MAC %SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 90b1.1c69.ba3f in vlan 10 is flapping between port Gi1/0/22 and port Gi1/0/3
Host is flapping between 2 ports on a switch.
Could you determine if this is a wireless client? What is connected to ports 3/0/6 and 7? This could be due to a wireless client's data moving between access points and the switch is seeing it's MAC address on both of these ports. The flapping doesn't appear to be happening very fast. How can you identify the source of a macflap?
based on the syslog messages below, how can you tell from where the flapping began? Is it the host connected to port g1/0/14 or another one from the portchannel11? There were only a few of these messages in the logs and there was no loop. But I'm trying to understand so that I can prevent them from happening.
How to see mac address of the switch that you are currently on
2. Yes, each switchport has it's own MAC address, I think this is how the switch itself (ASICS) makes forwarding decisions. Not quite sure tho, there isn't too much info on this I could find on the fly. If you are using a L3 switch, every port can be configured as a routed port which needs a …

That MAC address represents an HP device. Before connecting the switches, use the show mac address-table command, and see what port each switch sees that MAC address on.
