The Washburn N4 Authentic is an exact replica of Nuno Bettencourt’s iconic N4 guitar. It has been painstakingly recreated in the USA Custom shop from Nuno’s original N4 by Washburn’s master luthiers and replicates every dent, ding, story, and nuance of personality contained in his guitar.

The Washburn N4 is an electric guitar model, developed in collaboration between Nuno Bettencourt, Washburn and the Seattle-based luthier Stephen Davies. Since its introduction in mid-late 1990, it became Bettencourt's primary guitar and it is marketed by Washburn as his signature model.

Guitar virtuoso Nuno Bettencourt helped fine-tune the N4 Authentic's design for maximum performance. This 6-string guitar boasts an amazingly fast-playing neck, with unhindered fret access, thanks to the Stephen's Extended Cutaway.

Nuno Bettencourt is respected as one of the world’s top guitarists. Nuno used his extensive knowledge of the guitar to design each of the N Series guitars with an extremely fast neck with easy access to higher frets. A Duncan ‘59 and a Lawrence® L-500 in the bridge make this reverse head-stock marvel wail.
