2022年8月22日 · When you make a 1080p canvas and add a 4K source to it, you need to scale it down to fit the screen. OBS allows you to select which filter you want to use (right-click the source and select Scale Filtering) - by default, it does no filtering, so no processing costs there - however depending on the source you might want to use a specific scaling filter for it.

I downloaded version 0.11 of the StreamFX plugin, bought a Cable Matters Ultra Low Latency capture card, captured the gameplay I want (on the switch for example), then add an Upscale Filter (available from the plugin) that makes use of my 3080ti and Nvidia's Video Super Resolution to upscale 1080 to 4K in near realtime!

2023年1月21日 · Using 4K as base and 1080p as output leaves you the option to select which downscale filter you want to use, producing better quality, but the performance can be affected as you're rendering an entire 4K canvas in OBS.

2021年6月22日 · Restart OBS Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. Stop your stream/recording. Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.

In tried the preset p7 with CQP 16 and I got encoder lag. My destination is YouTube. I was wondering what is the best preset for recording 4k using 3090.

2022年9月3日 · To Enable Support for HDR Within OBS. First, navigate to File / Setting / Advanced and set the Colour Format option to P010, Color Space to Rec. 2100 (PQ) and Color Range to Full. Click apply once done.

2020年12月12日 · I do moonlight streaming as well but it doesn't equate to playing a game while OBS has to compile and transmit a video. Ok - so OBS compiling and trasmitting a video is way more resource intensive on a 3080 - than streaming via moonlight. Ok that explains things. I game in 4k and was trying to stream last night, and was getting crushed.

2021年6月12日 · The base resolution is the OBS monitor thingy (I think you called it), the area you use to build in OBS. The output resolution is what you want to output to recording or stream. The settings you want to use (while a bit overkill) should work fine for you. Is 75mb upload or download speed.

2023年3月9日 · Hi folks, I have a problem with OBS stuttering and lagging when recording in 4k. It seems ok when running off the CPU, but it runs at a full 100%. But stutters and lags when trying to run it off the GPU.
