I think OPA827 does deliver that. BUF634 adds some of the Burr-Brown character to the sound, but with 827, the sound is drier than with other Burr-Brown opamps, so I don't think that 827 adds much character of its own.

I have compared the original design, particularly with passive parts they were using, and it simulates a bit worst than the design proposed by Walt Jung on his book and which also is available on the Web.

2008年3月10日 · The OPA827 doesn't appear to available yet. I would guess that the model will be available when the part is. Keep an eye on the TI web site. National has the LM4562 family on their web site. Apparently the model works for the whole family of very similar parts.

2019年2月25日 · I see no reason to pay a premium for the opa827. The opa1641 does more than fine for much cheaper and can be used non inverting without performance degradation compared to inverting. See fig 7 in the datasheet. It can also be used after a pot as it's rather insensitive to input impedance. See fig 6 in this app sheet.

Compared to OPA627 and OPA827, OPA828 has improved headroom. However, there is a difference from rail-to-rail OP-AMPs. I got OPA828 as soon as it was released, loved it, and have been using it for over four years, but I never noticed anything.
