2025年3月5日 · The second Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV-76) built for the Nigerian Navy by Turkey's Dearsan Shipyard has successfully completed sea trials.

Dearsan Shipyard signed a contract with the Nigerian Navy in Abuja on November 3, 2021, for the construction of 2 units of High Endurance 76-meter Offshore Patrol Vessels. Subsequently, necessary steps were taken to realize the project, and on September 16, 2022, the keel-laying ceremony for the two 76-meter Offshore Patrol Vessels was held.
