The Oriental Shorthair is a long, elegant, slender cat producing a stylized extreme impression. Wedge-shaped and long. The wedge starts at the nose and broadens on both sides in unbroken lines to the ear base. Top of head is slightly convex or almost flat viewed from the front. The cheek bones are high set and narrow, the cheeks flat.
