OBT School’s pre-professional division includes OBT’s second company, OBT2, and the Trainee Program. Dancers work in collaboration with OBT2 Director, Dominic Walsh, OBT Artistic Staff, school faculty, guest teachers, stagers, and choreographers to facilitate their transition to a professional dancer.

OBT2 members participate in daily classes and rehearsals from 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Dancers typically take class twice per week with OBT’s professional company. When not in company rehearsals, dancers have an extensive class schedule and rehearse their own repertoire.
