2025年3月7日 · I have started to view other individuals thoughts and progress on their HMS Victory Occre build and have gain considerable insight into different build ideas. I purchased my kit from Model Expo at a considerable discount as compared to having purchased through Occre. Kit arrived at my doorstep here in Canada 12 days after I ordered it online.

2021年12月17日 · This is just my opinion from my experience with Occre and Corel. For new or mid-level builders Occre kits are the best value overall. Instructions are excellent with color pictures guiding the way ( 9 on a 1-10 scale). I have not had a problem with the materials, they were very good. Customer service is absolutely first class.

2018年8月6日 · OcCre kindly provide a pdf of the plans and instructions for their kits. The masts and spars are on a sheet with 1:1 scale. I find it difficult to find clear space on my workbench to spread the paper sheets so a screen display is much more convenient. Scrolling is much easier than spreading another sheet.

2020年2月11日 · While surfing the OcCre home page I found a link to a series of short how to videos the made for building one of their kits. It is a series of 70 2-3 minute long silent videos on very basic steps to build a Plank on Bulkhead (POB) kit. It shows the simple basic easy ways to do the build. Not necessary the best way or prettiest way, but easy way.

2021年1月12日 · I bought a partly finished cross section of the Santisima Trinidad. It looks like it's the kit by OcCre. I don't have any materials or plans, so I'm winging it I'm starting by redoing the shrouds, finishing the masts, and placing canon. in the images below, the lower shrouds were done by the previous builder. They look nice.

2022年1月31日 · My first build was the Albatros. The OcCre instructions said to file down the nail heads after the planks are set. I tried filing down a couple, which was quite difficult and wasn't working out well. Someone advised me not to file the nail heads down but to remove the nails. Basically, I had to dig them out, but I think it worked out for the best.
