The HCAR is a modernized version of the M1918 BAR, with improvements such as adjustable stock, 45-degree selector switch, takedown pins, bolt hold open, picatinny rails and carbon fiber trigger section. It also features an adjustable gas regulator (3-position) for suppressors, and a hydraulic buffer.

2024年4月14日 · I don’t have an HCAR but I do have a 1918a3 BAR from Ohio Ordnance. Its build quality is on another level compared to any other new production weapon I’ve ever looked at. Very, very fine piece of equipment. I can shoot a 10 shot group into about 2” at 100 yards with the iron sights and PPU ammo.
