why does the rav4 and maybe the highlander no longer have the ablity to screw in the tow eye or hook in the front bumper area? This tow eye was easy to use when stuck in snow,sand, or off road problems. other cars or trucks could easly pull out car with ease. Now you have a special tow truck life use up and use your wheels to tow you out.

Bought our 2008 Rav4 in update NY and noticed paint chips on rear bumper - wintered in FL and brought car to local FL dealer who stated that we must have "dragged" some items across bumper causing paint loss - HOWEVER, they volunteered to repaint bumper which was done free of charge and they provided a loaner car while this was being done.

Fixed Leak in Rav4 AC condensate water on the floor !! All it was - a plugged by spider nest or coocoon drain rubber hose. Apparently if it gets plugged (even partially) the drain water will find its way out through the blower fan assembly, which is right behind and above the center console. Pull the hose out and either flush it or run a wire ...

toyota rav4 . but the honda crv is a close second. it was a diffucult choice. the honda was $ 400.00 cheaper plus you get a rear view camera. the toyota has a little more interior space . and a better realiablity record so i bought another toyota ..... the sport version 4 cyclnder . i like the suv so far but ive had the rav4 only 2 1/2 weeks so ...

The RAV4 is a great car, but for being a 5 year old model, the 2nd generation CRV still holds its own. I can only imagine how good the redesign (3rd generation) will be. The Saturn VUE was also nice, especially with that Honda V6 engine.

Find a coaster in your junk drawer - by coaster, I mean an old CD that doesn't work. Or use a blank one if that's all you have. Insert the coaster about an inch into the slot (yes, on top of the stuck CD). Then turn the ignition on and hold the eject button and wiggle the CD around.
