2019年4月19日 · I have a Bad ignition coil on a Onan B43G-GA018/4167C, ser F83367975A0804 engine in a John Deere 318 and looking for a replacement. This is a points type engine. The existing coil has the threaded spark plug wire caps on the coil tower. Appear maybe this type is NLA. Anyone know the part number of a replacement coil for the B43 points ignition?

2020年6月13日 · I can only get over 3000 by tweaking the throttle stop on the side of the carb. This of course brings the idle speed up to high. I have looked at and tried the procedures in both the Onan and Case manuals. The Onan manual starts with the idle setup and finishes with setting max RPM by bending the high speed tang.

2016年5月14日 · The CCK is much heaver, I have not seen it in one. I have seem Onan P224's in them but they are wider and may cause issues with exhaust pipe being too close to the hood,( bulged hood models may be a better option) also the starter is on the wrong side. and generally have integrated solenoid which will have to be changed to clear some attachments or and you will need the shallow P oil pan.

A couple of years ago there was a post on the Thursday email about popular posts that had a link to a complete an detailed instruction for troubleshooting the no-spark condition. I have been through 10 pages of the Onan forum and haven't found it yet.

Their diagnosis is that the engine needs a complete rebuild. They suggest repowering the tractor in the mean time, because I need it for work and that's the fastest way to get back up and running.

2015年4月29日 · Step 1 after rebuilding the B48 Onan is to train all potential users to check the oil level before using it! Step 2 is that I want to install some level of low-oil warning. I saw in a previous thread that Boomer suggested using a sender that goes 0-40psi, but I never saw anywhere what the expected oil pressure in the B43/48 should be.
