If I open the photo from the files app, right click and select "open with" and select photos, it opens the photo but doesn't give me any editing options at all. 2024年11月4日 · Thanks very much for your reply, Richard. I finally did get a previous version of my backed-up photo library to restore. (I had to go back to a point before I installed MacOS 15.1 to do it.) This version has successfully opened in Photos! I'm now copying all 12,000+ photos to my secondary backup disk. Thanks for your advice.
