2016年2月13日 · The Oppo HA-2 SE is an attractive unit and produces good performance. Alas, it lacks perfection and best in class execution. Its DAC has some warts such as excessive noise and jitter and anemic output level. Its headphone amplifier is clean with low impedance but does not have competitive amount of power.

2019年3月31日 · This is a review and detailed measurements of the Oppo HA-1 DAC and headphone amplifier. It is on kind loan from a local member who literally flew to our nearby airport to deliver it to me! The HA-1 is discontinued but it cost USD $1,199 when it was being sold by Oppo. I just searched on ebay and was surprised that it goes for $1,200 to $1,700!!!

2020年9月13日 · Listening to Amazon Music HD , via Oppo HA-2 and CA Dacmagic XS, and the CA seems to have audible distortion vs HA-2 at an equiv volume level. It sounded to me like, say, a 30% difference, rather than 5% that can only be detected via measurements.

Aa result, I am looking for an advise for DAC upgrading with something like Denafrips ARES II or RME ADI-2 DAC FS. I am wondering if upgrading from older DAC as Oppo HA-1 will bring a significant sound quality improvement that will be noticeable.

2019年1月20日 · However, in Amir's HD 800S review listening test, he boosted the low bass by ~12 dB (low shelf +3 dB, Q=1 at 75 Hz plus another low shelf +8 dB, Q=1 at 40 Hz). So, if you are going to apply a similar level of low bass boost as Amir, the Oppo HA-2 may be a bit marginal for bass heavy music.

2022年1月25日 · The Denon AVRX4700H is only $2,100 for a 9 channels + a bunch of modern codecs; $233/channel. My AVR is $4,724.06 after inflation for 5+2 channels and only DD/DTS; ~675-783/channel. So I wouldn't expect the AVRX4700H to sound great because you're paying close to 1/3rd per channel.

2024年5月8日 · 2. Yes it will run from the Oppo 3. You can use the Oppo as the source and that should be the better sounding option. USB to Oppo from your Mac. Then XLR cables from Oppo to each speaker. Alternate option, which doesn't use the Oppo, so one less component cluttering desk. Mac audio output to each speaker using a 3.5mm to XLR cable.

2021年4月14日 · I'm currently looking for a Dac amp that I only use on the Mac Mini M1 computer. I've already tried an Oppo HA 2, but it sounds audibly worse than the Mac Mini M1 and is distorted at higher volumes and loses its dynamics. The Mac Mini M1 sounds dynamic but doesn't have enough volume reserves to drive my Sennheiser HD 660S.

I've tried chaining the USB connection settings in Developed Options, but there's no change. The cable is USB C to micro USB. Any way to prevent this...
