The Formula Le Mans car is built by French manufacturer Oreca and known as the FLM09. The chassis is based on Courage's LC75 LMP2 chassis, while the car's carbon fiber and kevlar bodywork is a simplified version of the LC75's design.

2011年3月16日 · ORECA’s version features a Dome S102 style inward scalloping, whilst the Tokai car has a rather unconventional and organic looking bulge directly behind. The rear bodywork features a number of bulges and cooling louvres around the turbocharged YGK engine.

2009 Oreca FLM-09. In 2009 the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) created Formula Le Mans (FLM) as a one-make series intended to level the playing field and curb the increasing costs of endurance racing. The cars were made by Oreca as a variant of Courage LC75 with a near-stock version of the LS3 GM V8 and Xtrac gearbox.

Dubbed the FLM09, the Formula Le Mans car was jointly developed by Courage-Oreca and the ACO. The basis is formed by the Courage LC70 design that was also used for various top level LMP1 and LMP2 designs, including the fabulous Acura LMP2 cars.

The Oreca FLM09 is a spec sports prototype car built to compete in the LeMans Prototype Challenge which had been created by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest. The series was designed as a way for young and upcoming drivers to gain experience and to prove themselves before entering the world of endurance racing.
