May 22, 2020 · @Fasterthanturbo below is the P0032 troubleshooting procedure from the Subaru technical service manual, specific to the 2004 XT. It's slightly different from the one for the nonturbo engine, that was posted on the aforementioned thread link.

Especially since I look up the part number on the airbox they gave me (Subaru A53AC09) comes back to a 99 outback LOL.

Jul 6, 2021 · Only P0032 returned which is what I would expect after replacing the MAP sensor but not O2 sensor There was still a lot of white smoke and liquid coming out of the exhaust but nothing like the awful idle dropping to 400ish RPM and any touch of the accelerator stalls it.

Aug 21, 2013 · The code that came back was P0032 (Heater oxygen sensor heater control circuit high bank 1 sensor 1) So I replaced the front o2 sensor. I probably should have consulted here first because after replacing, i'm getting the same P0032 code as well as a P0131 (Oxygen sensor circuit low voltage bank 1 sensor 1)
