2011年10月12日 · Keep in mind DTC coding is generic. A P0234 is the same description for every vehicle. Its overboost. Just what it sounds like. The engine is getting more boost pressure than desired. Assuming your turbo is stock, it isnt variable geometry. So you dont have that to worry about. It could be as simple as a wastegate issue.

P0234 is an overboost and P0101 is Mass air flow.. The P0101 is not really a concern being it has an aftermarket breather and is expected, but id like to figure out what the P0234 is because it get a little annoying being shut down like that..

2019年3月30日 · 2013 Ford Escape SEL 1.6L Ecoboost, 120K miles, persistent P0234 code only (no other codes) for the past 2 months. I would clear code with scan tool often in hopes to pinpoint cause. Mainly got P0234 going downhill, when engine downshifts when braking or uphill when hitting the gas pedal.
