2012年3月27日 · What causes these codes? Autozone says P0370 is "Crankshaft position sensor - EXCEPT Diesel". So whats this mean for a diesel? Code P0251 is present also. Truck was running fine when *I* drove it, but my moms been driving it since her car is broke down. She was complaining of smoke, noise, low power, misfiring, stuff like that.

I really like to understand the correlation of the WIF sensor to MIL to DTC and GM's logic to it. I don't see it. Again, My apologies for any insults. 2011年12月17日 · Can someone please help, i have an 03 silverado 2500 with a duramax, it is bone stock, intermittently i will get either a crank no start, or the truck my stall out when running, and sometimes i will have a code p0370. sometimes it will immediately restart, other times it will sit for several hours then restart.

Intermittent DTCs (P0251, P0370 and P1216) may be caused by air entering the fuel system when fuel levels get below 1/8 of a tank while performing hard acceleration or turning maneuvers. It's also possible that a P0251, P0370 and P1216 will set the if vehicle has run out of fuel.

2010年9月18日 · My 96 C2500 was throwing the P0251 code followed mostly by P1216 1217 and sometimes p0370. I moved the PMD to a big flat heat sink behind the front license plate, replaced fuel filter, cleaned a bunch of electrical connections including below dash, replaced and tightened up fuel lines and connections to fuel pump.
