Aug 8, 2022 · I have a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 Sport that just sent the money light off with a P0481 Fan 2 Issue. Wondering how I’d go about finding the issue as I’m hoping it’s an easy fix. Jul 6, 2020 · Talking to the tech, basically the troubleshooting goes like this. 1) clear codes, then activate AC fan. Codes P0481 and P0694 appear (btw, my code reader did not see P0694, but the tech said the Mopar scanner did). 2) Check the fan high relay or swap it for a known good relay, clear codes, activate fan, code P0481 and P0694 re-appear.

Jun 10, 2020 · I have a 2011 Ram Sport 5.7, I also am experiencing the same problem. Engine ight is on P0481 code. replaced relay. Fan is working disconnected the wiring into tipm looked clean. On the dash the engine temp does not go over 205. Just had radiator flushed. There is no issues that I can see. Tipm is about $400.
