2018年5月31日 · The P0571 code indicates that there is a fault in the brake switch circuit. Have you checked to see if the brake lights work. If they do then test for power on the Pink wire at the brake switch with the key on(at brake pedal under dash) Then depress the pedal and test for power on the Light Blue/White wire.

2015年8月9日 · I was able to pop the little round cover on the side of the shifter housing and manually activate it, so I wasn't stuck or anything. So shortly after the check engine light popped on and gave me a code P0571 - Brake light A circuit. Then it also threw a P0700 - Generic Transmission code and went into limp mode.

2014年5月22日 · I recently bought a LMM and It had the P0571 CEL and the cruise wouldn't work at all so i replaced it with the OEM ac delco part. I then cleared the codes and it almost immediately came back and of course the cruise still doesn't work.

2012年7月13日 · Just did one on a '07.5 with 150k miles. Same issue. Disassembly of the switch revealed that the cruise contact arms were distorted, prevent closure at pedal release. Replaced and the P0571 is gone and the cruise now sets. Right off my invoice 15861245 Switch List $20.38 Net $14.27 The switch is really a pipe dream of some college graduate.
