When the tech came back he said there was another code P0605 and said my PCM was bad or there is a chip/software in the PCM ?

2009年5月5日 · Usually, the P0605 comes up when a truck's scanned with a tuner/programmer/or chip plugged in. As for your hard starting, try unplugging the DP to see if it clears up any just to see if the problem goes away. If it starts the same, you've eliminated the DP as being the culprit, if not, call Jody or run some diags with a good scan tool.

2009年10月27日 · P0605 is a ROM Failure code and is quite normal on chips that don't do the checksum. In this situation, this is not an indication that there is anything wrong with the chip or the PCM. It just simply means that the PCM added up all the values in the memory and came up with a total that it didn't like.
