2021年5月29日 · Truck listed above has a 4.8L V8. L Truck shifts from 1st to 2nd hard which put on engine light and threw P0700 code and a P0717 code. I’ll park the truck jump in it again sometimes it’s still on the check engine light sometimes it off I won’t hard shift again until maybe a day later could be two days. I think it’s an electrical issue.

Yes, the P0717 code will not go away, I'm guessing because the scanner shows no ISS signal, but I'm guessing the TCM can read the signal OK and that is why it still shifts normal, lock up and all. That makes since about the crazy TCC slip numbers, thanks.

2022年5月16日 · Well time for an update..... so P0717 came back after about 2 weeks. Have been driving it since for a few months but want it fixed. I'm handy but it was time to call in the experts. Dropped it off at a local shop that specializes and Nissan and Infinity that was highly rated (turns out the ratings are correct, these guys are excellent!)

My truck is giving a P0700 and P0717 code. Based on my understanding, the p0700 is the generic transmission code and the p0717 is in regard to the speed sensor. I've replaced what I believe is the speed sensor near the output shaft but cannot locate any other sensors.
