I replaced the "NC" speed sensor (top of the transmission) with an aftermarket sensor. After replacement and 10min of driving, the same issue is occurring, CEL came back on and now calls P0793 and P2714.

2023年11月27日 · P0793 & C1201. I also checked the trans fluid and it was between the hot & cold marks, while hot which may be slightly low on fluid as well. I may have jumped the gun and decided to gain access to the Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor. From what I learned, by checking continuity and getting about 650 ohms confirms that the sensor is good.

2012年3月6日 · The Toyota/Lexus part 89413-48010 replaced the -08010 and I found a part on eBay for $13.50 (rather than over $150 from the dealer) that fixed the problem. With the wrong part in the car, that is the 917-603, the car shifted very poorly from 2nd-3rd and 3rd-4th and threw code P2714 along with P0793.

If replaced ECM, ran new wiring to said ECM, bought a new sensor, moved it around between the NC and NT. both sensors ohm out correctly. I take it in, they replaced the speed sensor and solenoid, fluid change, and repaired some shoddy wiring that they found. They said fluid was a bit dirty and there were some metal shavings but there is 220k on the transmission.
