2019年9月7日 · I recently went to the dealership with Generic Code of P1006 (No VagCom..I know i know), and felt what appeared to be the diesel variety of a misfire. Upon subsequent checking at dealership, I am getting a new engine after they found metal fragments in the oil pan. Never got a picture, or told what they were from, so presume piston ring material.

2022年10月19日 · I've recently gotten a P1006 code on my 2013 Passat - when googling this code it states that its a torque difference in cylinder 3. I brought this to my local mechanic to get checked/fixed (not a car guy myself so not doing any work other than basic stuff like - swapping winters/summers, oil change, brake job).

2020年1月5日 · If you google “TDI P1006” you would see the code says it is a “Torque Difference Cylinder 2” Most likely you have a glow plug going bad. You should check the recalls for your car, because some TDIs around this era have a recall on the cylinder 2 injector.

The fault code that is coming up is to let you know that the power output for cylinder 3 is different than the others. The cause for this is the fuel injector for cylinder 3 to where it is not inputting the correct amount of fuel. To resolve this issue the injector will need to be replaced.

Customer: have a 2013 Passat tdi. I just got a p1006 code. I car acts like its misfiring when the engine is cold. after a couple miles it goes away or if you let it warm up for 5 minutes. is it a dirty injector or value needing to oil? Mechanic's Assistant: When was your last oil change?
